The French Quarter, at least for me, is a place to have a good sit-down dinner. Parking is usually a bit of a problem, but once you're past that, you can enjoy a nice meal. I've always sat out on the patio, so I can't attest to indoor tables, but the outside ones are always fun for me. Meals are hearty and delicious. An ice cream sundae followup never hurts either.
