Business Description from the Web

Serving classic American diner food with an exceptional Asian twist and funky names that add to the fun, this diner is notably hip and it is open 24 hours daily with exception to major holidays.

This trendy 24-hour diner specializes in overpriced eggs and self-consciously quirky diner fare that's generally average, but the obsessive unrequited love inspired by the place's too-cool-for-you attitude ensures that Fred's is always hopping. If you stumble in around 2 a.m. on a weekend, you'll find this monument of icy coolness packed with suspiciously well-put-together drunks. (On weekend... more

The Scene Bowling-alley fashion sense, classic Hollywood charm and a chrome toaster on every table make Fred 62 the hippest place in town to get your chow on. The Food Expect creative riffs on comfort foods served up with funny names. Witness the golden, velvet Mac Daddy and Cheese, the towering ham and swiss of the Charles Bukowski, and the fluffy pancake,... more

Twenty-four/seven diner kitsch for mottled clientele who have surpassed Interpol now that they have discovered The Fall. Perfunctory waitresses in teensy skirts sigh in boredom over our order of chocolate milkshake, punk tarts, and belly bomb omelet. Disaffected cool kids in booths ripped straight out of the front of your old Camaro, chowing smoked salmon and egg sammies behind shades, feigning... more

Opened in the heart of trendy Los Feliz by chef Fred Eric, this slightly skewed 24-hour coffee shop comes by its retro kitsch honestly. Eric remodeled the tiny corner diner with spiffy 1950s car-culture icons, including hood-ornament sconces and blue service-station smocks for the waitstaff. He then named it after himself (and his birth year, 1962) and peppered the menu with puns and inside... more

The waiters will "accidently" double swipe your credit card. I know several people they have done this too.

after 10 years of going to this resturaunt I loved the food, its in my area, and its open 24/7. The service is horrible. Its apparently an "industry-service" and the waiters can decide whether or not to serve you based on whether or not you've tipped before (I always tip, in cash and more than deserved but if its not more than a 5 buck tip you should be weary of the service). Sadly, I wont be... more

Rudest, Unattentive Waiter Ever!!

I had a HORRIBLE experience. The food was excellent but the waiter ruined the whole dining experience for my party. We will never be back EVER!! It took forever for the waiter to pay any attention to us. The place was dead but he would rather sit and talk to his friend at the counter than work. The food is overpriced and you are excessively overcharged for extras (items like cheese, sour cream,... more
