Holistic pet care

What we believe about HOLISTIC animal care at Franklin Road Animal Hospital...

WE BELIEVE THAT ALLERGIES, CANCER, ARTHRITIS AND CHRONIC DISEASES ARE PREVENTABLE AND CURABLE!

Nutrition is paramount to health and low vet bills. We recommend raw foods whenever possible, but we also show clients what to look for in a quality kibble, and suggest nutritional supplements according to needs.

WE DO NOT LIKE TO OVER-VACCINATE... Vaccines are not always needed and should be tailored to exposure risks. We suggest checking titers. We encourage your pet's body to self heal by utilizing herbs, vitamins, minerals, detoxification and chiropractic care. However, conventional therapies will be used and supported where indicated.

We principally treat arthritis, allergies, back problems, disc blowout (paralysis), toxicities, inflammatory bowel diseases, chronic vomiting and diarrhea, skin and ear conditions, heart conditions, kidney and liver failure, cancer, and other chronic conditions that have not been resolved elsewhere.

However, we still perform basic annual health exams for clients that have been with us over 30 years as well as new members of our FRAH family. Our practice has about a 200 mile radius, but we also do long distance phone consultations and diagnostics. We are able to discern much about an animal with their DNA.

It is easy to make an appointment. Please phone during regular business hours. Mon. Wed. Fri. 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Thursday open late from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Closed Tues. Sat. Sunday.

We are happy to take care of all your pet's needs, and often adjust our schedule to accommodate patients dealing with life-threatening illnesses so we can see them as quickly as possible.

Please refer to our website for a list of MODALITIES we practice as well as TESTIMONIES and LETTERS from actual clients who understand what we do...www.holisticpetcaretn.com

Get ready to be Overcharged and Miss Diagnosed

First off, Dr. Ingram will be late from 30mins to 2hrs. So clear your schedule. Dr. Ingram uses applied kinesiology as his main way of diagnosis. It is a experimental diagnosis with no scientific credibility, and should only be used as a secondary means of diagnosis. Dr. Ingram uses this to his advantage to find any supplement that he can convince you to purchase. Almost every animal is allergic to chicken. Even the Vet Tech that works there admitted to me that his diagnosis is usually not right. I can't believe she said this to a client. They use this holistic medicine to take advantage of the clients he serves. Expect your bill to be $200-$300 for the initial consult. My animal was diagnosed with chicken allergies. He was itching his hair and skin off, and all the things Dr. Ingram had me do didn't work. I took him to a real Vet and told them my story and they ridiculed Dr. Ingram and claimed that they here the same story about him every week. It's amazing he is still in business. What tops it off, is that this man claims to be a Devote Cristian. His wife even joked with me about getting a second mortgage on our house so we can pay our vet bill. OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!

The best

I cannot say enough good about these folks. Ok, their methodology is a little strange to me, coming from a hard science background. But Dr. Ingram diagnosed my sick dog when no one else had been able to, and came up with a treatment that has actually caused her to improve, using both traditional and more unconventional medications, when no one else that she had seen was able to offer me any hope. He spent time with me, he educated me on both holistic and traditional medicine, and most importantly he was concerned about my dog. She's now showing signs of improvement for the first time since she's been sick. I am convinced that she is still alive because of him.

After spending a couple thousand dollars with 2 other vets and hospitals, we took hair follicles to be tested and found that our cat was allergic to gluten, chicken and several other things. Now...

This veterinarian uses Applied Kinesiology for allergy testing in animals. This evidently is not new but was new to me. My dog was very sick with IBD and a pretty tough case. However I tried to keep faith in the method and she is finally almost well. She is not 100%, but about as close as she will be to being well. Our traditional vet only made matters worse.
