Decent Pizza At a Good Price
Frankie and Johnies NY Pizza is a great value on the Sunset Strip. The pizza is fresh and fast, plus you can watch the game on TV and get a beer. There are a lot of musicians from the strip at night, especially on the weekend, but generally, this is the neighborhood pizza joint. I have always had good pizza when I go there. Generally, I just point to a couple of slices and they heat them up for me. It's usually slow and laid-back, not like normal Sunset Strip snooty places.
horrible customer service
I had ordered one pizza from Frankie & Johnny's when I was at my friend's house, and therefore had it delivered to their address. For whatever reason, they stored my debit card information, without my permission. Not only that, but they didn't even put the card under my name, but rather put my card information under my friend's name an address. They then claim every time someone orders they ask for the last 4 digits of a card before they allow the order to go through. However, there is no possible way my friend would have my card info, and therefore apparently someone forgot this "procedure." My friend and his roommates actually order from there on a regular basis, so when they call the employees know their name by now, and that's probably why they didn't ask for confirmation when placing an order. Now I have a $55 charge on my card that Frankie & Johnny's is refusing to refund me for, and the manager herself didn't even call me back, but had the general manager relay a message for her. In my opinion if you have faulty procedure in the first place, and a customer who is greatly upset because they were wronged, it might be a good idea, as a business owner, to do whatever you can to resolve the issue and make your customer happy, as to avoid complaints such as this one and loss of further business.

The pizza is really just okay. A bit on the oily side, and has a funny "twinge" to it -- you know, the kind of thing you can tell other people may LOVE it for, but just doesn't strike you quite right. Since a lot of the other reviews are so glowing, I guess it's best to give it a try yourself -- maybe the aforementioned "twinge" WILL be your thing, even though it certainly wasn't mine. You can really never go wrong here! If they don't have the slice with the toppings ready at the front, order a cheese slice, and add your own. Two slices usually does it for me, and if I have room for dessert, I get the cheesecake. They give you two slices, so it's worth the $6. I usually take the second slice home. This is a must for NY style pizza lovers!

Frankie & Johnny's is the best pizza on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood. The little location is cute with it's signed walls. The best pizza here is the Little Pauli's Special. Mmm-hmm. They can handle large groups too.
