Straight is Good on This Interesting Track

Fox Ridge is not an overwhelmingly demanding course, but you need to be able to hit the ball straight and know where to hit it and where not to hit it. On a busy Friday we had a clear demonstration of that. Golfers were all over the place - in hazards that sneak up on you, in dense woods along fairways and in native grasses that are 5 feet tall and impossible to find a ball in. I think on a few...

A good value and challenge for any golfer. Plenty of scenery to take in, course is very hilly. Course is maintained wonderfully, well manicured greens and tight fairways. A nice 18-hole course

Played Fox Ridge while visiting in Maine. 3 sets of tees the longest measuring 6,814-yards. The course was in nice condition and the staff was friendly. A beautiful course very worth playing when in the Lewiston/Auburn area. Will play again on my next visit to this area.

It forces you to use a plethra of clubs whether you're in trouble or safe in the fairway. Makes you think every shot. Still fun 200+ rounds later!

Situated over 200 acres of Maine's rolling farmland, Fox Ridge is a links course, designed to play as the landscape dictates. The 18-hole course is under rennovation to further challenge those golfing in Maine. Projected opening date is summer 2001.
