In Short It's a place to have lunch, chat with friends over a glass of wine and pick up top-shelf pantry items. Fowler's of Durham is chock-full of hard-to-find imported items (check out the cheese selection) and offers casual dining at the cafe with an outdoor patio for warm afternoons. Paninis and pastries are also offered.

First of all, the coffee and tea are THE best I have EVER had! The baristas are amazing! The lunch is great. The atmosphere is fantastic! The grocery items are so unique. If you are looking for just that place, then I have found it for you. It is Fowler's Food and Wine in downtown Durham. These people have got it down, the wine selection and beer are the best i have seen in the Triangle. Fowler's is a gourmet shop that is also a cafe. They offer gourmet treats, grocery items and coffee beverages. I love the tiger spice chai tea. It's kind of expensive, but they carry items that are difficult to find. The service is excellent, but the neighborhood that it's located in is not the best, but if you are in the area, you should give it a try.
