If you travel Amtrak, as we do, you must overnight in Emeryville to transfer from the S.F.Zephyr to the Coast Starlight. Since we're only looking for a place to wait overnight this hotel is the most convenient and best price for the convenience. It is not a destination hotel. There is shopping and movies within walking distance so you're not in the middle of nowhere... it just seems that way. ... more
