Great Hotel For Business Travel
I stay at the Fairmont whenever I am passing through San Jose for business. It's located downtown close to the museum, convention center and lots of great restaurants. There is a cavernous central bar/lounge which is good for closing deals.

The beautiful Fairmont San Jose offers a luxurious heart-of-the city stay for families visiting the area. The downtown hotel is close to the Tech Museum of Innovation , Childrens Discovery Museum , HP Pavilion , Museum of Art, and the San Jose Historic District. During our stay, we booked two adjoining rooms, with an oh-so-comfortable king bed for mom and dad, and a second room, with two...

Located inside the Fairmont Hotel, the restaurant serves burgers, salads and sandwiches offered in large portions and serves low-carb dishes.

The Scene Since the addition of a second tower in 2002, this property looks more like a small city than a hotel. The fountain park in front is impressive, and the lobby displays a graceful, European style with crystal chandeliers, marble columns and fine art. The Details The 800-plus guest rooms include nearly 100 suites. Comforters and goose-down pillows provide cozy...

Ideally situated near the Convention Center and the Center of Performing Arts, this hotel is in a landmark building. A popular spot to have afternoon tea or cocktails, the lobby attracts many who are just passing through. The hotel places an emphasis on comfort: The guest rooms offer many modern features such as fax and high-speed modem lines, while other amenities include 24-hour room service...

My son goes to San Jose University and when we come up to visit this is where we stay. The beds are so cozy and the staff is always helpful and friendly. They've added on a new wing to the hotel that has amazing suites. Just a few blocks away from the college along a great central area with shops, restaurants, a rock climbing gym, and a theater. Centrally located. The Grille on the Alley...

I am brand loyal when it comes to the Fairmont. While the San Jose location is not the nicest or most elegant, it is a great place to stay! I have stayed there probably about 10 times now and have never had a complaint. Christmas time the lobby is decorated beautifully and right out the doors is a Winter Wonderland! If you want something nice, I would reccommend the Santa Clara suite, it...

For me, one of the first things I noticed about this hotel was the amount of people in the lobby, etc. I'm not a fan of crazy busy places, so its a detractor. However, nice rooms, great food onsite (The Grill is EXCELLENT and serves PRIME meats), good concierge, and a good salon onsite when you need a hair trimming.
One thing I liked about this hotel is all the places you can walk. The...
