Search by state

I live in a small town, so most businesses and services I search for are in other towns outside my zip code -- lots of other towns in lots of other zip codes. Sometimes I just want to search the whole state for a category, and it would be good if the results could then be sorted by zip code and/or distance from a given place. Another way to do this kind of thing would be to do a search of a given radius from a point, such as 25 miles from a particular town, zip code, or even street address. Allowing a radius search is especially helpful to someone who is traveling and is not familiar with the local area, since sorting by towns or zip codes may be meaningless to such a visitor.
