Nothing is actually wrong here; we know if there is a space or not and this is just our tag formatting. For example, I tagged the Pizza My Heart in San Jose "pizza delivery" but it shows up as one word when you see it on the screen.
We also do a bunch of stuff behind the scenes with our search engine to analyze the tags for nearby locations to make sure that when people search we can use tags to find businesses with similar tags.
The search engine continually gets smarter and better because we designed it to let users like you define each business as _you_ see it. All of those tags you add to each business makes that business show up as a search result.
First, let me apologize for submitting a business that is already included here. (I could not locate it using the appropriate keywords.)
The existing listing is loaded with inappropriate keyword tags - http://www.yellowbot.com/avante-garde... including:
Breakfast Budget-conscious Cheap Eats Family-Friendly Dining Group Dining Hamburger Italian Food National delivery Pizza Romantic Dining shop Special Occasion Dining Steak store Unusual varieties Reception & Service
Avante Gardens is a florist in Anaheim, not a restaurant.
How can business owner or other users get inappropriate tags deleted? Thanks.
Thanks for the corrections and sorry that we got it wrong.
Currently, YellowBot staffers have to manually delete any tags. The fastest way to make changes to contact information is to click the link "submit corrections" at the bottom of the business details page. This is where you can submit changes to contact information, add a URL, etc.
Soon, we will let business owners who identify themselves and register as the owners of a particular location and we will give them the ability to delete inappropriate tags, set their hours, submit messages as the owner, etc. Our goal is to give both users and business owners the tools they need to give their opinions and communicate with each other.
How can I add a tag to my business profile or delete a tag? Right now I can only add tags to my personal settings.
Which brings me to a second question. How come I can only add tags to my personal info but not delete any?
adding a tag to your "personal settings" makes them available to all users automatically. You can add a tag to *any* business. You can then go back to that business at any time and see your tags when you are logged in. You will find a linked "x" next to each tag you have added that you can click on to delete the tag.
You are not able to delete someone else's tags, though.
