One of the Phoenix's most scenic golf courses, this premier Weiskopf/Morrish design is nestled into the ridges and buttes of... South Mountain. Offering a host of events including golf tournaments, charity fundraisers, and weddings, there is always a package to fit your private event needs. The course is open to the public, but does host an array of private memberships to cater to all types...

The Foothills Golf Club is a very scenic course. Basically a desert landscape set up against South Mountain, it stretches out to almost 7000 yards from the tips. Always in great condition, a good score here is one that is well deserved. The fairways are narrow, with a cut of rough and then desert ready to snatch any off-line shots. The greens vary in size, but most are well bunkered and some...

The strength of the Foothills is that it offers lots of variety.

Great value

Average Rating
80

Course is in pretty good condition considering it's mid summer. Staff was great. Pace of play was awesome as there are not too many golfers out at this time of year which I prefer.

FootHills is a "Great Course"

I have played Foot Hills several times this year. I have enjoyed the fantastic views, friendly staff, wild life, and pace of play. I would recommend this course to novice and experienced golfers. Difficult but fair.

Underwhelmed

Average Rating
60

First off I have to say this course has a great layout and is a very attractive setting. The bad is the conditions are pretty poor. The greens and fairways were pretty poor considering everything else this course has to offer. To me this is a course where it used to be a high end club but new ownership came in and only cares about the bottom line. For as much play as this course was getting I...

Great course for the money

Average Rating
80

The Foothills is always fun to play. Right now they were scalping the fairways but it didn't impede play. The value for the money is exceptional. They do close the restaurant a couple of days a week, and main golf shop in the summer to save money and keep costs down for golfers.
