Outside appears to be nothing special, inside the same. Seat yourself atmosphere. We visited 3 times this year after finding this place on the way out last year. Food is great, portions are great. Service is a little slow, but when you get your plate you know why. You don't want to skip eating here when you are in Dahlonega.

Foothill Grill is not fancy but it has good honest food, breakfast is always hot and filling. Country fried steak and eggs are great, hash browns and biscuits. Portions are great as is the food. A great way to start the day.

A local restaurant with great food and better service. Even though it not a bit on the fancy side I still gave it a 5 for atmosphere. It is the way a good local place should be. Heck, if it were fancy they would probably raise the prices.

Foothill Grill is not a beautiful, trendy place. It is a good ole' down home place where the food is amazing. Portions are generous, very generous. The best part is the people. Family restaurant ran by family members. This is the kind of place that the people become friends. Saturday morning breakfast is the best part of the week!

Hubby and I found this jewel right here on Trip Advisor. We came to visit our youngest son who moved to Dahlonega four months ago. He had not heard of it, but he will be back. I'm so happy he'll have somewhere to get the home cooking he loves. He and his dad both had the basic grits and scrambled...
