In addition to having a great produce section Foodie's provides residents of the South End with a high-end grocery selection. The store carries gourmet olive oils, frozen lobster ravioli, pickled ginger, and specialty foods imported from the British Isles, Portugal and Italy.

You must go there! Foodies is an urban experience of its' own. They have a huge selection of food for vegans, vegetarians & meat eaters. Their prepared foods are great for on the go. Their service is a style all its' own.

I don't know what the other reviewer is talking about. Foodies is not meant to be a gourmet store, or the cheapest place around, or provide funky choices. It is meant to be a convenient and comprehensive small-format grocery store that serves a dense urban neighborhood. There is no parking there because most customers walk from around the neighborhood.

Foodies is an incredibly confusing store. It doesn't have the selection, prices, or even convenience of Shaw's and it doesn't have the charm and offbeat selection of a more expensive place like DeLucas.
