This sports store has been a part of the downtown Madison community for decaedes and there is a good reason for its success. They carry the largest variety in town of equipment for sports of all seasons, including SCUBA, tennis, skating, skiing, and snowboarding. They also carry winter jackets and accessories. Fontana's offers a pretty good selection of things you'd need if you wanted to enjoy trapising around the outdoors. They aren't a large store; you aren't going to find the selection you would at, say, an REI, but this isn't a bad place to go if you're looking for boot wax or such staples. Fontana Sports Specialties is a great sports utilities store located on State St. in Madison, WI. You can get all kinds of sports clothing appropriate for the different sports and you can get all the rquipment that you need for skiing, snowboarding, scuba diving and more. A neat thing about them is that they offer a free snorkeling clinic too.
