+ Great Vibe
We found this place inadvertently and ended up going almost every day. The food was impressive. We loved the people and the atmosphere. We read about the cigar store, but found we loved it all. The staff were friendly, didn't rush us, and made us feel at home. We arrived late for dinner but they accomodated us all the same. Food is served in a non-smoking atmomsphere with cigars in the front....

Great place. Why? It's simple--authenticity. This place reminds anyone who is a native New Yorker what NYC used to be like. This place has all the attributes (good and bad) that Little Italy had before it was a tourist trap. Nowadays, Mulberry Street is more like Disney Epcot than a true ethnic experience. Not this place.
