This classic diner is plastered with photos of Monroe, Nixon, and local notables past and present in a succession of brightly painted rooms with funky chandeliers. The kitchen dishes up typical grease-pit breakfast favorites (no matter the hour), with oversized omelets that come with biscuits, toast, or English muffins, plus a choice of grits or tomatoes. The restaurant also has good hangover...

American diner serves large portions at decent prices including sandwiches, salads, seafood and steaks. Read More

Whether it's "the crack of dawn or after a night out", this "worthy legend" on Las Olas Boulevard "pushes out prodigious quantities" of "hearty diner" eats on the cheap 24/7; the digs are "seedy yet strangely homey", the "waitresses are right out of central casting" and it's always packed with "colorful" patrons, so "go with the Flo'" and watch the show; P.S. bring cash or American Express.

Not sure why there would be any hype about this place (staff had some sort of Rachel Ray stuff on their shirts) but it's really just a very basic diner with autographed pictures on the walls. Kind...

Good breakfast. We were here for breakfast--both my wife and I got pancakes. I got the banana pancakes for myself. You get three good-sized pancakes, of which I wasn't able to finish. While there wasn't anything spectacular or all that unique about these pancakes, they still tasted good.
