What a group of idiots.
I went for an inspection & oil change. A guy with a black Chevy truck with an obvious exhaust modification came in before me for an inspection, so I was told how long I would need to wait, fine. I stayed while the guy left. I was asked if I want a "standard" oil change or to opt for Castrol ($39.95). I keep my car very well taken care of, so I went with the Castrol, although I cringed at the price! 25 minutes later, I am told that there is a problem with the safety inspection part of my inspection: my license plate lights were both out. I was told it would be $17 to replace them. Fine, I said, but because of this "new" finding, I told them I want the standard oil change.
10 minutes later, I am told "THAT LIGHT PROBLEM WAS NOT ON YOUR CAR, IT WAS THE OTHER VEHICLE (the black Chevy truck) ... SO DO YOU STILL WANT THE CASTROL? IT'S BETTER FOR YOUR CAR. I USE IT ON MY CAR."
Ok f*ckwad, thanks for talking to me like an effin girl, which I am, but don't be patronizing. I don't own a Benz or etc., so I don't necessarily need Castrol for my 4 door Nissan. All of the oil changes done on my car were dead on time.
So everyone, take it from someone who has learned their lesson the hard way to avoid a seemingly convenient (location near my house) garage who doesn't know their a@s from a hole in the ground.
ps: for an inspection (with a car mix-up ... glad the *owner* isn't a surgeon) and an oil change (that took way too long) for a standard 4-door car in excellent shape, I was charged $64!!! A complete rip-off with a job done by complete cretins.
pss: Beware the "Help Wanted" sign ... looks like they can't keep the hired help for very long ... this means that they must turn to ripping off their "customers."
psss: tried to push a planned "maintenance" on me, but I will obviously be doing that SOMEWHERE ELSE and FAR FAR AWAY from them.
psss: too bad this has a no star option, they don't even deserve the one star choice
