Poor performance and not as advertised

Five Star installed their "performance series engine" in my truck that after a thorough independent investigation produced no additional performance at all. I payed an extra $1300.00 for nothing more than chrome valve covers and a chrome oil pan.

You might ask how could they get away with that?....how many buyers are going to tear apart a new engine to see what's inside or have the knowledge of dynamometers for testing output?

Tested output on my engine was off by over 100HP from the horsepower they said it would produce.

Sold me a bad engine! They are a Rip Off so beware. Do some research on them; see rip off report.com and craigslist ads - I am not the only one they ripped off. BEWARE!

FiveStar Engines - Not reliable

Please consider avoiding fivestarengines. I paid in full, yet they never sent my engine, having to jump through major hoops just to make things right. Another guy paid $7000 for a 427 that blew in 700 miles. Save your money and buy elsehwhere. You wont be sorry
