I also attend First Baptist Church, Sacramento, and I can only assume that the receptionist was having a bad day at the time you called her.

By the way, perhaps your letter accomplished its work, after all. We do now offer our sanctuary for weddings again.

I'm a member of FBC Sac and am sorry Rebecca's experience was poor one. (We are forgiven, but obviously not yet perfect.) The worshipers at FBC are truly a caring congregation; we're just waiting for you to join us!

I have never actually attended a service here and I never will. I called while looking for a church to get married in, and the receptionist ws so rude. She informed me that they only allow members to get married there and practically hung up on me. I wrote a letter to the pastor advising him of the situation and requesting assistance and never got a response.
