I listen to Pasture Brunson daily. I usually learn something with every teaching I hear, however I am worried that Pasture Brunson is trying to grow the church instead of gathering worshipers. I believe that the gathering is God's purpose. Not to have a bigger church. How can I help Pasture Brunson with this dilemma. Sincerely Anthony P. Andiorio J.R. 904-238-8085

After listening to the new Pastor, Mac Brunson, I see that the old FBC is gone forever. Jerry Vines was a marvelous preacher, as was Homer Lindsey Jr., but, after they left, the preaching has gone downhill. The prices for the Wednesday night dinner have gone up to 7 dollars per person, for the usual buffet, too! The bookstore has several versions of the bible out, and some of the reading...

First Baptist Church of Jacksonville established in 1838 is the third oldest church in Jacksonville. The church was reconstructed in 1903, after a major fire gutted the core structure of the building. The church community has grown tremendously since its inception. Sunday Worship and Sunday School are popular with the faithfuls. The church also houses a library and bookstore.
