Irresponsible
My sister was a patient of this doctor for 15 years, his office acknowledged an error in their bill her for $40.00.
He sent her a letter for neglecting to pay her bill she went to his office and paid the bill which the billing person acknowledged was their fault. The next week she receives a letter that she had been dropped as a patient due to the fact that she did not pay her bill.
My sister is epileptic...I thing this is an irresponsibility in the office management and on his behalf for not paying closer attention to how his office is run.
When she called his office the reply she continued to receive was "the office policy is that we do not take patients back once they are dropped". This so call doctor did not have the common decency to speak to her.

This Doctor is excellent. My wife and I have been going to this doctor for years now and Dr. Filner is one of the few doctors left that really cares. I feel lucky to have him as my Doctor..
