That was the price of organic milk back then across the country. but now the processors are the ones making the money not the producers. They don't share the profits with the producers who made them their money.

So Dennis Leonardi invested his kid's Russ scholarship in a business? A business that he had invested in and made profits from? His kid didn't need that money to go to college?Maybe it is time that the Russ Scholarship gets granted on need, not entitlement and a family's name.

Why did HCA run out of money and go bankrupt? Because the board of directors set the price of the "organic" milk to high. Rich's problem was that he couldn't admit to the fact that he couldn't sell the "organic" products at a price high enough to sustain the bloated "organic" prices being paid to producers. The down fall of HCA was cause by three things 1, Rich's pride 2, The "organic"...

I'm sure it is not probable that Greedy Ghuillarducciused his position at Humboldt Creamery as collateral on personal loans not connected directly to Creamery property. I'm pretty sure. I'm sure that his personal bank accounts, savings, investments, etc. had no support from his marvelous income from the Dairymen he was cheating. I'm sort of sure. I am absolutely sure none of this sort of thing...

Honesty's the best policy. Even if he didn't do this thing out of personal greed, it would have been better to let HC survive on its own merits rather than to continue to try and grow it faster than it was capable.
