Better known for their thin crust pizza, but they also do a nice penne with vodka sauce. The price is reasonable, the side salad is about twice the size of a usual side salad. The atmosphere is friendly and professional. I'd opt out of the chain food garbage for a solid dinner here. No it's not inventive or gourmet but...

This past weekend my husband and I met up with four of our friends at Federici's South in Howell, New Jersey. We chose this restaurant because another friend raved about the food. We now know that our other friend, though well-intentioned, doesn't know what good food tastes like.

I Have been to Federici's South in Howell many times since moving to Howell two years ago. I have never had a bad meal from this fine establishment. The people are friendly, the service is great and the veal is the best around. Their pizza pies are thin crust so you bite into flavor from the sauce and the cheese...

Thin crust pies, baked ziti, desserts and salad always amazing. Friendly and efficient servers. Ooh I almost forgot the hot and fresh Italian bread that comes with your salad. Delicious!

it's NJ Italian at its best. Plain, no frills but just plain good. I have had a lot of pizzas in my life, this one is probably the best.
