The food is excellent at Fat Sam's. It always and I mean always comes out hot and the waitresses are always friendly which makes the meal even more enjoyable. My only complaint is...I LOVED their BBQ ribs and they no longer have them on the menu :-(

Not a dive by any stretch. Food is better than your normal standard bar food. Pizza is nearly the best in town. Always decent drink specials as well as Bears/Blackhawks game day specials. A great place to watch a game. The bartenders love their regulars and tend to ignore the younger folks normally, but that is any place that has a large contingency of regulars.\r

I have to say, the pizza is the best in the area. However, the owner always being in the dining area is wrong. He's always bitching at someone and making rude comments. I'd love the place a little more, if they changed owners!

Owner needs to get out of the dinning room. He stays in there all night gambling, farting, and yelling at waitresses. Food is average.
