Editorial reviews from the web (9) view all

In terms of lounging, people-watching, partying, and poolside glitz, the Shore Club ranks among the ultimate South Beach adult playgrounds, despite rather basic guest rooms. This isn't the kind of hotel where you spend a ton of your time in the rooms, anyway. Guests generally hang out in the minimalist lobby or by one of the two stylish pools, where a peek behind the cascading white curtains or...

In the fickle world of hot hotels, the Shore Club struggles to hold on to its place at the top, but does okay thanks to Florida's only Nobu sushi restaurant and, on certain nights, a celebrity clientele that would fill up an entire issue of Us Weekly. Because this hotel is infinitely more cavernous than its hipster neighbors, the Delano and The Sagamore , some publicity-shy celebrities such as...

Hotel pools in South Beach can feel like a lifestyle rebuke: You, dear guest, are ten years too old, several million dollars too poor, and countless crunches short of a six-pack. One look around the Shore Club's huge outdoor area—which includes two pools, a hot tub, and enormous lounging beds—will make you wonder: Who are these people drinking Champagne poolside on a Tuesday afternoon, anyway?...

If you have the magic open-sesame black card, this playland at the Shore Club hotel is all yours; otherwise, prepare to dress up and posture at the velvet ropes. Once inside, you have your choice of settings: lounging by the pool on Moroccan cushions with a glass of one of 75 rums from the Rumbar; on a rattan chair in the Sandbar (the sand is brought in from the beach); or in the Redroom, the...

Sprawling watering hole whose lofty attitude attracts the likes of Missy Elliot, JT, Jay-Z, and beyond. Outdoors, you've got couches, bars, and areas reserved just for VIPs. Inside, you've got the famous Red Room where many a tweaked-out celeb has been spotted.

I've never written a review and usually don't, but I wanted to write this to "rebunk" some complaints that I read before staying at the Shore Club.
I've been to Miami a number of times and I've stayed at different hotels each time and I would say that my stay at the Shore Club was definitely one of the better...

Great location on South Beach

Stopped here for 3 nights. Was advised to have an ocean view and it was well worth it. The high floors have uninterrupted views. A lovely walk in shower and a good size bedroom. We didn't eat here as there were plenty of restaurants and bars nearby and the price for food and drink was quite expensive. A bottle of...

South Beach: This trendy Ian Schrager-managed property has a super-hip pool and bar scene. Skybar, the umbrella for several indoor-outdoor settings that include Redroom, Redroom Garden and Rumbar (as well as the private Sandbar), is so celebrated, along with signature restaurant Nobu, that it's easy to forget that the Shore Club is actually a boutique hotel as well.

Decor, both inside and...

Best Nightlife: Skybar's glamorous, welcoming spaces, located in the notorious Shore Club, one of the most unique hotels on South Beach, act as a magnet for the unabashedly chic and famous. From the gorgeous, dramatic Redroom, activity spills out the back door, into a lush garden, then to a poolside lounge, and finally to the beach itself. Accented with handcrafted lanterns, vibrant textiles,...
