"Comfortable" farmhouse-chic ambiance is matched by "terrific" farm-to-table fare from husband-and-wife team Chad Burns (Radius) and Sharon Burns-Baker (Grill 23 & Bar) that changes daily at this Newton Centre American; what's more, it's a "good value", so "book reservations early" to secure a spot in the sparsely decorated dining room made rustic by reclaimed-wood tabletops.

Great Newton Resturant. Food is really good, fresh, and creative. The only reason for the average rating was the waitress at my dinner had a bad attitude (this might be a one-off) and Tables are too close together (I like more privacy when eating out). Even with the negatives, the food outshines and it is worth going.
Farmstead Table does not disappoint. The food is always fantastic, local, fresh, and innovative. I am disappointed that they change the chairs in the restaurant. They have change them to Tolix style metal chairs without cushions. They are pretty uncomfortable and make the place feel less cozy. I understand that they probably did it to make more room, as the old wooden chairs did take up more...
