It's also across the street from CBS Television City, where The Price Is Right is taped—lots of contestants stay here, and there's an altarlike photo display of recent prize-winning guests in the lobby. Sixty-six rooms and suites are done up in country-chic style: denim...

We know this set-up and fear it ends with us tarred and feathered at our own shotgun wedding. But the daughter got a West Hollywood makeover. So dally a minute with Betty Lou over free cable (sorry, Hee-Haw was canceled), pool, and DSL in what looks like a high-end version of your room when you were seven and stuck in the boonies. Great, country-cute value. She even has a Tart -y neighbor...

The Bottom Line: Motel-style accommodations across from CBS and the Farmer's Market with a hip and storied history. Guest Rooms and Rates: From $105.
Other Reviews from the web

Where is the friendly service Farmer?s Daughter prides it?s...

My family came to town and had never been to the West Coast before and thanks to the friendly staff, they will definitely be back to LA! We stayed for 4 nights and the staff in TART and at the front desk was so accommodating and kind that I know we will be back. They went out of their way to make sure my dad and brother were taken care of during the day while I went to work, making sure they...
