I used to work at Downtown Crossing for years, and the Falafel King became an addiction. He makes few things, but they are all delicious. I especially loved the tasty lamb in a wrap with the hummus, and I took to asking for a couple falafels added - and it eventually became its own menu item - the "Special". In addition to tasting great and being a fantastic value, the sheer volume of food served at Falafel King is too large for me to eat in one sitting. As a result, I end up bringing it home and my husband has a small, but filling, meal for dinner. (I bring Tupperware to work on the days I eat there!)

Falafel King serves up great food very reasonably. Know what you want when you get in line because it moves fast and they are on a mission to serve. Though not in a Soup Nazi kind of way. The ONLY downside is that they lack a seating area. That's fine when the weather is nice and you can picnic in the common, but not when winter sets in.
