There were two problems with this hotel. First, located in the Tidewater area, you could tell they'd developed a mold problem over the years. Not terrible, but noticeable. Second, the furniture was old and not always in good repair. Oh, and because of upgrades, there was noticeable noise during the day. But the bedding was great, the microwave and fridge worked well, and the size of the room... more

I stayed at this hotel for one Saturday night during our trip to the Virginia Beach area. Check-in was quick and easy, even though I had forgotten my reservation number or any sort of confirmation printout. I simply told the check-in lady my last name and was given a room.
