always a wonderful time
I've been here dozens of times, for everything from quick lunches to hours-long group celebrations. The staff is ALWAYS fantastic: friendly, attentive, fast. I've never had a "bad" or even "so-so" time here. The food is perfect, a great selection of wines, and you're always welcomed like you're a long-time regular. One of the best spots in L.A. Ever.

Diminutive trattoria with an interesting menu and a solid, value-laden wine list.
On a gradually gentrifying stretch of Sunset Boulevard --- far less glamorous than a mile or two West --- is this last remaining branch of a once-trendy mini-chain that’s always high on the lunch-crowd list. The panini, served with a salad, are always a draw, but there is much more on the menu. At dinner, pastas range from lasagna to penne alla vodka, and a number of risotto and gnocchi options...

This is a perfect place to come to dinner before a show at the Pantages. Park near the Pantages and walk the two blocks to Fabiolus. Service is great. I prefer sitting in the back room or the patio. The front room is more cafe-like...but all good. We haven't been disappointed.
