Ezo Sushi used to be a great little place to get a fast sushi lunch on Sunset, but lately the quality of both service and food has been getting worse. I went there a couple of times a month a year ago, but whenever I have been there in the last few months, it has been a disappointment. I don't go there for dinner so I can't speak about that.

Horrible customer service. Empty atmosphere. Very inconsistent. We used to go there once a week, but now it is not an enjoyable atmosphere... not to mention their all you can eat sushi times vary from 5-7 or 6-7:30 or what ever they decide that day. Their prices vary from $23.95 to $29.95... you never really know what to expect. Their times and prices are constantly changing, most likely due to the constant change in management... also the bad attitude from the busboy/waiter does not help. But who can blame him? I would be unhappy working in a place that was so empty too! The scary thing... who wants to eat sushi in a place that is so empty, because how fresh can the sushi be?

I had to write a review after reading some of the less than stellar reports on this site. I have been going to Ezo for two years now and I have never experienced bad service. Only once was the food sub par, however, this was not without good reason as I learned later. Love the food and the people that this place attracts. If you had a bad experience I would suggest giving it another try as I am... more

I have only been to this place once - and that was clearly enough. The sushi didn't seem fresh, the tuna tasted like...well... canned tuna. One of my former co-workers started feeling quesy on the way back to the office and eventually lost her lunch.

There is better on Sunset - right across the street at Ta-ke, save yourself the tummy ache and the blah food - skip this place.

On this past Friday (Nov. 9, 2007), a girlfriend and I decided to try out Ezo Sushi (a small "dive" on Sunset Blvd. in WeHo). We saw a sign in their window saying "All You Can Eat Sushi"and being the total sushi fanatics that we are, we decided without hesitation to give it a go. Upon entering this somewhat dimly lit restaurant, we seated ourselves at one of the many empty tables. When the... more
