Dr. Zaibaq is AWESOME!!
Dr. Zaibaq is an amazing eye doctor! My whole family has been going to him for several years now. Dr. Zaibaq and his staff have been nothing but wonderful for all these years! I totally recommend him if you are looking for a new eye doctor or just want to change doctors. I trust him with my family's vision and I credit him for early detection of a serious problem my son has with his optic nerves. If he wasn't as thorough as he was, I don' t know what would happen to my son's vision. I will never go to another eye doctor again. He has two locations. One is in Meyer Land and the other is in Sugar Land, TX. He is awesome!!!

I cannot recommend Eye Trends
I cannot recommend this company. I faced quality control and customer service problems with every phase of the process. It took more than 11 weeks and 5 visits to get my glasses. They were manufactured by the lab three times before they were correct.
I went to the Eye-Trends Meyerland Plaza office for an exam and eyeglasses on 14 July 2009. When I tried the first pair, the images in the two lenses did not converge, so they sent them back to the lab. I was told that the interpupillary distance had been incorrect. In the next pair, the images were "ghosted" and wouldn't converge. The O.D. on site re-measured my prescription and found it had not been correct.
It took five more weeks to get the third and final pair. During that time, I made three phone calls to request a status report. Their response each time was to promise to find my file and call me back. It never happened. It took a personal visit and a talk with the owner to finally get my glasses.
To add insult to injury, when I picked up the glasses I asked for a copy of all the documents in my file. I was told that under HIPAA they were only allowed to send them to another doctor. I read her the paragraph in their own privacy notice that granted me that right, but she nonetheless refused. They called me an hour after I left to let me know that they had decided to make them available to me after all.

I feel like I need to right two separate reviews on this place. First, the front desk staff is terrible. My fiance and I had two appointments, one at 12:40 and the other at 1:20. We arrived at 12:30 since we were first time patients. Amy is probably the rudest person I have met in my life. We had a 30 minute conversation where she tried to convince me that I didn't have insurance because she could not locate it the day before. (Not only did I not get a phone call, but she refused to contact the insurance company for me while I was there) I called VSP and had an authorization number for them...
