Hardly anyone serves "dinner" anymore. I'm talking about a fresh sourdough breadbasket on the table, and a first course of homemade minestrone soup. Next, a salad (pro tip: ask for the House dressing, "mixed" -- your tastebuds will thank you!)

The tradition of fine cuisine at Espanol goes all the way back to 1923, when it was located at 114 J Street and served the traditional cuisine from Europe's Basque Region.
