As the Erie Art Museum s ceramic arts facility, we offer pottery classes for all ages and ability levels. We are unique to the Erie region because we also offer independent ceramic arts study and private ceramic arts studios with access to wheels, a slab roller, clay mixer and pay-as-you-go firing fees. All our instructors are professional artists who love to teach.

EAM anchors downtown Erie’s cultural & economic revitalization, holding a permanent collection of 7,000+ objects and hosting numerous exhibits annually.
The museum is supported by members and is not for profit. Featured inside the museum are over 4000 objects. The collection includes American ceramics and Japanese prints. The museum houses permanent and temporary exhibits. Group tours of the museum are available. Program and lectures are provided.
