Paul and Aileen Reilly Closing Encore on Colfax

It's a sad day, Denver — chef Paul Reilly and GM Aileen Reilly will close Encore on Colfax after brunch service this Sunday. Due to severed lease negotiations at the Lowenstein Theatre Complex, the Reilly siblings will be looking for a new space to either reopen Encore or develop another concept. Wade Kirwan, Adrift's New Executive Chef

This is the kind of diner that keeps the whole family in mind. The food is top notch, the trivia nights hilarious, and the general atmosphere in beatable. I cannot wait to go back, thinking it may be as soon as tomorrow.

They take advantage of their proximity to the theater to jack up their prices. Service is mediocre and food is so-so. Drinks are pretty good, however. Wouldn't spend the money to return here.
