I never thought I would pay more than 20 dollars for a haircut, nor did I ever want to go anywhere other than a barber--I was wrong. I know go to Emerson Joseph's and look forward to each visit. When you arrive, they give you a beer. They meticulously cut your hair. You can get your shoes shined, a hand massage, and hot towel treatment when you get a head massage. I highly recommend it!

Was in Charlotte for a business trip and walked by Emerson Joseph. It reminded me of my usual place in New York City, so I went in to get a haircut. The place was cool, and the service even better. They have nice leather couches, a pool table and a plasma TV in the waiting area. I had a beer and watched football while I waited. One of my friends has been going to Emerson Joseph for almost a year and he kept asking me to check it out. Finally I broke down and got a haircut. I am glad I did. I really liked my stylist. Her name was Brandi and she was fun to talk to, attractive, and she did a great job on my hair (and I am very picky). I also liked the environment. It was very cool but still comfortable. ... more
