I just moved my 83 year old Mother to Emeritus and she loves it. The staff is wonderful, lots of activities and she has made great friends. The administration has taken strides to get feedback from the residents and families and to continually improve their services. I am very thankful to have found such a great place for my Mother.

While visiting this facility I noticed that the same resident assistants that were changing dirty diapers were the same resident assistants who were serving food, there was no soap in the bathrooms, the sanitizer dispensers were empty and far and few between, the resident assistants walked through the halls going from one room to another with the same gloves on, and more and more and more. My mom was at Emeritus at Southpoint for 8 days had a bump on her head the size of half golfball. She had to go to the ER with a fractured femur and a dislodged femur head. She had to go to surgery for them to insert 3 pins in her femur. I would highly NOT recommend to send your love one here!! Please do your research.
