Beware of the new group hanging out here ""The Rowdies"" fans! They like to fight and follow clients out of the bar and then sucker punch them! They are also the group of ""tattoed hooligans"" (or should I say tattooING) who like to punch girls and then run away! With this kind of crown around downtown it's not even fun to go out down there anymore! The bar knows and the bouncer knows and they do nothing to help the situation!...They know who they are and they will get theirs!

It's a smoky dive bar. It's full of 20-somethings that are "alternative". I have no idea how they think they are entitled to charge a cover. The entertainment has never been worth a cover.

I have had a great time every time I went there. For me and my friends, the emerald is like a parking place, we start the night there, and end the night there, but there are plenty of other cool bars walking distance...If you haven't meet George yet you are really missing out.

All in all, if you don't have a blast at this bar, you are probally trying really hard to have a bad time.
