Caitlin Williams (Embody Life Coaching) is a fantastic coach. I worked with her as a step in my career development process. When I began our three months of weekly sessions I expected a cerebral, analytical model, focused only on my work and education. What I got instead, and have come to value far more, was a holistic inventory of my life, which began by taking stock of where I felt I was in each different life area. The touchstone was around my work, but the process affected far more than that. About halfway through I had a great Aha! moment: I saw the distinction between my Job and my Work. This was a pivotal realization, immediately followed by new opportunities sprouting all around me like wildflowers.During the entire process, Caitlin provided a safe space to do the hard work of self-evaluation. She helpfully reflected, prodded and questioned, gave perspective and suggestions. She emailed me provocative or comforting poems and quotes between meetings. She never batted an eye at the outrageous things that came out of my mouth. Her humor, insight and acceptance have been instrumental in my learning about my own place in my professional life. I would recommend Caitlin to anyone who values personal growth and wants to work hard for a very positive reward: improved self-awareness in the area or areas of your choice, and surprising revelations you didn't even know you were looking for.
