what a joke!!!
my friends were asked to leave cause they were told they r too white!!! paid$14 to park and $40 for our cover and spent so much cash at the bar-- i guess their money is not too white!!! these were freinds from out of town and had never been to any clubs in detroit- when u have out of town guests in your club YOU ARE A REPRESENTATION OF DETROIT!!! And this is the impression they left with!!!! and no one cud tell me why that happened- no one wanted to be bothered! i was trying to talk to the guy at the door- it was pretty loud at the club so i was kinda leaning into him so that he cud hear me-- BAD IDEA-- he says "MAN...BACK OFF...dont be getting so close to me" he acted like i was about to jump him or something!!! i am 5'4 130lb female and he was treating me like i was about to charge at him!!! all i asked was why were my friends asked to leave! the bouncer didnt wanna be bothered either! i asked to speak to a manager and was told there was no one i cud talk to! what a shame!!! i will not ever go there again and i will not recommend this spot to anyone whos white!! what a shame!!!

I bought VIP tickets and table for a concert months in advance at Elysium. 6 days before event promoter called stating to me that the club owner Ivie wanted my table for his friends.
