Dont bother to try Ellyngtons! In what I can only imagine is some idiots idea of saving money, Ellyngtonsgot ris od their chef of 4 years and hired a kid to try and fill his shoes. We made a reservation on Mother's Day at Ellyngton's. When I called to confirm I was told it was a champagne brunch with their normal Sunday brunch. There is no place like the Brown Palace. Their afternoon tea service is on par with the best in Britain. The historic decor throughout the Brown Palace provides a wonderful feast for the eyes. Both comfortable and refined, there is nothing like the Brown Palace. The Ship Tavern burgers are a special treat, but try not to drip the juices all over your clothes.
