I had to reschedule so many different times due to them only having one technician ,I took off work several times waiting on someone with no luck. I called customer service to see what else could be done they were very rude and talked over every time I started talking. They finally came out to fix my washer and now 2weeks later and the same problem is still happening . These companies have you get these extended warranties its a total scam the companies they have you deal with are horrible. This company is maybe worth half a star
We paid for an extended warranty. Were told the the repairman would be there between noon-5 pm. 5:30 pm came and we received a phone call saying they were going to be late and arriving 6:30-7pm. Repair man showed at 7:30pm and after looking at the washer for 5 mins said parts had to be ordered and it will take 8-10 business days to get them in. Thats the first day of work I took off lost. We get a call approx 2 weeks later stating that the parts came in they will schedule my appointment 5 business days later. I told the receptionist I already took off work one day and they did not show on time and that I request them to come in the morning so that I wouldn't have to take off a whole day. She said she could not. I told her to get her manager for me. She came back on the phone and told me that her manager GUARANTEED they would be at my house before 4 pm. I said fine. Mind you they had already received my parts. The rescheduled appointment came (I took off work AGAIN) and I received a call from the repair tech at 3:30pm that the parts they received are damaged and they had to reorder. I told him to have his manager call me back. When I received the call from the manager he proceeded to tell my why its not his fault, the parts go directly to a warehouse without being inspected, they don't even want to service my area. He said he would try to "work a miracle" and someone would definitely call me the next day as to what has been figured out. its been two days and they have not called. I called the warranty people and they have been dealing with Electra-Sound to the same end. Been lied to 3 times now by Electra-Sound, spent the equivalent of the washer itself with loss of work, laundry expenses and the cost of the warranty. Probably will be another week minimum befor I HOPE to get it fixed but at this point I'm not holding my breath. Good news is that in about another 20 days they will be in breach of contract and I can take a different course and maybe recoup some of my losses.
Giving this company a 1 out of 5 stars is honestly giving them too much credit. Not only is the customer service lacking, the technician that came to assess our television was rude and obviously did not want to be working. They have had my TV for repair since 1/5/06. I have always had to call for updates. Excuses from we are ordering the part to it's on backorder. Had to call the TV Manufacturer to call them and ship the part. Still waiting and it's 2/22/06
