I don't know what crack the other two reviewers are smoking but this is NOT your typical Mexican restaurant. I had the chicken fajitas, they were excellent and an ample amount of food. The prices are reasonable and the service was great. The salsa was different than what I'm used to, but I live in the Seattle area so I'm guessing this is better. One of my friends had the nachos. Looked killer, each chip had toppings.

My husbands favorite Mexican place in town. The owners are also the waiter/waitress. If you're looking for something with no wait to get a table and low prices this is your place. The food is very flavorful.

Good food, but what draws us is the great prices, quiet atmosphere, it's small and less known, and the family that owns it takes as good care of you as if you were in their house as guests. Shrimp Enchiladas are my favorite. It's not the best tex-mex, certainly good though, but like I said, we go for the service and the quiet location.

I can't say enough good things about El Grande.....we go here at least once a week. It is a hole in the wall, family owned restaurant. The food is delicious, cheap, and quick. Their prices are low. By far the best in mexican food in town, and I've been a die-hard Don Joses fan for years. El Grande is now serving margaritas and beer. Their margaritas are definitely better than Don Joses...
