Good place. Been going there for as long as I can remember....80's..Never a bad meal so far, and they actually have a good cheese burgercombo with fries for a great deal too.

I once ate tacos everyday for a week and confirmed that I can live on tacos. There are plenty of Mexican restaurants where we live but we come here because we also go to Tijuana and this is as close as it gets in Hillcrest. Me encanto los tacos estilo de Tijuana. Gracias!Here's what you do. Order some TJ tacos to go and them to CJ's next door to pair it with a Corona.

After reading all the rave reviews, I had to try this taco shop.I feel bad about only giving the place two stars, but for me I wasn't impressed.I had the beef taco, tostada & cheese enchilada plate special, so I could try each item.The beef was seasoned well but a little dry.The beans on the tostada didn't have any …

This taco shop doesn't know the meaning of mild. Here, there is only one sauce to speak of and it is hot. Staff here are quick to serve up burritos and tacos for their busy lunchtime rush.
