Just like every other Mexican place only this is in the Midwest. Nothing special that I can see so far. I'm not sure they even know Spanish

Solid Ameri-Mex. El Charco Azul is a typical Ameri-Mex joint, but it does everything right. Generous (but not ridiculous portions), tasty food, a solid salsa, decent prices, clean and open environment, and good service. My wife and I will definitely return next time we're at the Lake!

Good food. I like the fact that they offer seafood on the menu, as most Mexican places don't. They serve the same ole pinto refried beans, and rice, but they were actually good. Had the enchilada Mazatlan and was pleasantly surprised .Comes with a Mexican cheese sauce. Very good. Jorge the waiter was knowledgeable about menu items and handled my sodium requests. food is amazing, prices are so cheap, and they even have the lunch specials on Sunday which nobody else has. We go here a lot after church.
