Editorial reviews from the web (2)

"You'll waddle out" of this "authentic" German joint in Norridge after chowing down on "surprisingly good" sausages and schnitzels, throwing back Bavarian brews and listening to the live "oompah band"; the service earns high marks and the setting brings back "memories of the old country", so even those wondering if "maybe the beer makes everyone like the so-so specialties" still agree you'll...

Norridge restaurant achieves an authentic German feel with plenty of beers on tap, a lively atmosphere and stick-to-your-bones food.

We love German food and this restaurant is very consistent. We ate here several weeks ago. I ordered my usual wiener schnitzel while my wife tried the lake perch special. While my veal was great as always, I tried some of the perch.
Really great tasting. the waitress said it was so popular that they now have it very day.

My family visited for my father-in laws birthday dinner. We had 7 people in our party with us, all of whom are very used to German food. (We have a very German last name!) My husband and father in law were so excited that BBK was on tap and had their share. Most of the family members ordered schnitzel while...
