Unlawfully entered my property

I called Economy Septic on Friday May 6th at 9:00am PST and requested an appointment. I explained that there was no urgency. My tank just had not been pumped in about 8 years and this was just for regular maintenance. I gave the company a phone number for my tenant. The lady called me back to let me know it was the wrong number. I gave her another number for my tenant. She told me that she'd give all the info to the technician and he'd contact me for payment. I received a call on Monday May 9th at 7:11am PST from the technician at Economy Septic to let me know the job was done. He explained how everything went and what he found. During the conversation, he explained that no one was home to flush the and how he dealt with that. He said he tried the phone number I provided and couldn't get ahold of anyone. I went ahead and paid for the service. I later spoke with my husband about the incident and we both were feeling very uncomfortable that Economy didn't tell us they couldn't get ahold of our tenants and that they entered our property without our permission. I called and spoke with the lady expressing my concerns about their practices. I explained that my tenants have a dog and the tech could have gotten bit. She defended everything they did. I made it very clear that I requested an appointment and never gave them permission to enter my property. Again, she defended their practices. Finally, my husband called and spoke with the tech and asked why he entered our property without our permission. The tech said that under some Florida state law, he was allowed to enter our property because we told his company we wanted them to pump our tank. My husband explained that we requested an appointment. The tech said he couldn't get ahold of my tenants and doesn't have time for that, so he just went out. My husband also brought up the dog issue warning him that he could have gotten bit. The tech told my husband that they enter peoples property all the time without someone being there, in fact one time, he said someone's German Shepherd tried to attack him in a clients yard and he had to kill it. So, bottom line, I requested an appointment. They did not make an appointment, but just showed up when it was convenient for them and entered my property without my permission. Nobody was there to ensure the job was correctly done and to flush the toilet afterwards. I have no way of knowing if they did the job completely. The company explained that entering peoples property like this is common practice. I called several other septic companies in Pensacola. Every one of them said this is NOT common practice. They'd never enter someone's property without first getting permission from the homeowner beforehand. This technician is saying he's allowed to by law, which raises so many red flags for me.
