It was ok..the rooms could use a little work. Had a little smell. Need to update there comforters on the beds. Other than that it was fine.

Worst stay ever

Room was supposedly just remodeled. Believe me that was just a new coat of paint. All of the furnishings were old and broken. The staff acted as if we were putting them out when we asked for a roll of toilet paper. We will never stay there again and I will be very leary of staying at another Econolodge.

Pet charges are extra

This hotel was advertised as being pet friendly, which my wife confirmed by talking with an Econo Lodge representative. That rep quoted a charge for the room that included having a pet with us. However, when we checked in, the clerk would not give me a room key until I paid an additional $20 pet fee. Was this false advertising or just dishonest local management?

Outside Myrtle Beach and desperate.

It was late and there were no rooms in Myrtle Beach so under the circumstances we were happy to have a bed for the night. The staff was friendly and very nice. The carpet in our room was wet due to a AC drain issue and the cable did not work. At 1:00am we did not care. Again we were happy to have a place to sleep. Older and ready for a renovation. Not any fault w/ the employees.
