The ladies that helped me check in/out were very friendly! The hotel is on a side road so it was quiet. Also only a 20min drive to the beach!

Beware it's not REALLY in Defuniak Springs

I chose Defuniak Springs because it was on route from Santa Rosa Beach Fl to Atlanta however this hotel is actually in Crestview which took me 20 minutes out of the way. The hotel was clean and newly renovated, though rather basic. I did not like that the room doors lead out to the parking lot, I thought the room price ($80) was steep for what was offered. We only needed this room for one night to break up a long drive, but we were very pleased with the room and the hotel itself. how would definitely stay here again if I needed a room in this area.
