We are working our way through the book "Historic Hotels of Texas" by Liz Carmack and so glad this hotel was on the list. Thanksgiving weekend was our time to visit this hotel and was a perfect stay. This historic hotel is out of the way in downtown Eastland. From the moment we walked in the door we felt welcomed by the owners. This was the neatest place to stay as my wife and I did one weekend night. A nicely appointed room and fun to see the big Majestic Theater sign next door lit up at night out our window (saw a movie too).
